On Saturday the 9th May at approx 20:20 a Grey Range Rover was stolen from a driveway on Abbeyfields. If you have any CCTV that may capture this vehicle or any vehicles in convoy please let me know by reply. The vehicle was subsequently recovered and will be returned to the owners in due course.

This theft follows on from similar thefts in Mellor and Whilpshire and these vehicles are being actively targeted. If you have a high end vehicle please take a moment to consider the security of your home and vehicle. Do you have CCTV? Do you have additional barrier security such as a crook lock or driveway bollards? Does your vehicle have a tracker and is it activated and operational?
